Magnetic Level Gauge follows in the level of fluid

inside a tank or chamber.  Magnetically coupled flags flip

as the level rises or falls giving a relatively safe indication of level.

SPDT latching reeds switches can be clamped along the side to send

alarms or control the level.   Many configurations of tank attachments

are available.

Magnetically Coupled

Flag Display is Dry

Many Output Options

Several Connection Options

No Leaks If Display is Damaged

Design Criteria:

  • Rugged level applications
  • Custom length and fitting options
  • Partial or full length read
  • Several Connection Options
  • Stainless, Plastic, Large or Small Size
  • Visual and electronic indication
  • Short delivery time

The magnetic level gauge is unique in that if the flag

display is hit nothing will leak as they are magnetically

coupled to the float.

An engineered float travels inside the gauge and follows

the vessel level.  The float carries an internal magnet that

simply "flips" the flags thus indicating the level.  The flags

remain flipped until the float returns in the other direction.

Options include, rulers, latching switches, 3 wire potentiometer,

4-20, resistive continuous outputs.  A variety of build options are

available for most tank requirements.

Possible Applications:

  • Process Control
  • Cogeneration
  • Oil level control
  • Storage tank level
  • Day tank level
  • Sump pit level
  • Condensate tank level
